The odd difference in price between the two top pics has to do with the drinks (soda vs. iced tea).
I found Gwaltney chicken dogs on sale for $1 per pack (8 dogs, 12 oz.). I then found Kroger’s Heritage Farms chicken dogs on manager’s special for $1.59 for a 24 pack. I then found HF chicken dogs on sale for 29¢ per pack (4¢ per hot dog)! Recently, Kroger had Ball Park franks on sale for 99¢
